    Looking for sales / deals on the 12.1" HP pavilion laptop. Need an ultra-portable that is light but I'm not sold on the "mini" designs. This seems like a close second.

    Any deals like on the DV3?

    I saw the DV2 at Costco today and have to say it is very thin. I really like the design too. The price is $750 I believe.

    Posted this in the Review discussion and First Impressions threads too.

    Office Depot has the DV2z-1030us for $649.99 after $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.

    I bought one yesterday from Office Depot. The $100 mail-in rebate is actually 2 $50 rebates. One is sent to Office Depot, and the other is sent to what I assume is HP's rebate center.

    Starting tomorrow, Staples will have this laptop for $650-$50 rebate=$600. It is a good deal for this ultraportable notebook

    For $599 its a fantastic buy...spend a while with the DV2 and I bet you will agree :D
