    What are you asking? What notebook drive to put???
    If that is your question: if the drive is slow, there is no need for 3.0gbps! but really, is there any notebook drive which can run at 3 gbps? i dont think..

    if you are asking about what external drive, same answer: there is no need for 3gb/s if the hard drive cannot run at that speed... at least thats what i think! :)

    @tianxia: yup, its too fast... but anyway, there is no ide and sata in the laptop is there? i dont think both can be present at a time.... but yes, i think a 5400rpm notebook drive is to slow for sata, isnt it?
