I've been tyring to find a way to install xp on a dv2700t. Apparentely all the ways i've found work for every model except the 2700. So im trying to go the route of just slipstreaming the drivers onto the install disc and try that but i cant find the XP drivers. Does anyone have it or know where to find it? If not can i use the Vista drivers? or would that just fail...lol

Download an iso of XP that's been slipstreamed by someone else, torrents are a good place to look(they generally have been modified with "vista features" which is crap and they are useless). Just make sure it says SATA denoting that it contains SATA drivers. That should install fine but since the author of said modifications is unknown and I would definately not trust random them to not leave trojans or open ports in my system. So instead of leaving it at that, simply grab the drivers that it installed for the SATA drive and slipstream them onto your own copy of XP. Problem solved
