The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

If you've ever wanted to replace or diagnose your Hp/Compaq notebook/products, here's a site (complete with videos) that will tell you how to do it step by step.

    http://learning.compaq.com/wbt/e9-10200-wb/default.htm

    Enjoy!

BTW, I got the link from this article. http://consumerist.com/consumer/hew...any-secrets-from-a-former-employee-236909.php

Don't know how true this is, but it should be worth a try.

Looks like to me it requires a badge number, and log in password is needed..

    No free access?

NOTE to HP, if you're behind this website... I would assume it's "cheaper" to allow access, than to provide support.
