So back at the end of December, there was a 30% coupon for the HDX 16t. I tried to order one on the phone (one that would cost ~$1500 with their usual $200 instant rebate but cost ~$1200 with the 30% coupon. both offers were mutually exclusive), but the transaction was failed to be completed, because I stated a phone number that did not match the one on the banking account (my family had moved recently and the phone number on the banking account was still old). So I called back the same day to fix the order information and was told that there was no way that the current order could have the information fixed and that I would have reorder. But seeing as my bank account had had only $2000 and was already deducted $1200 for a pending transaction, I borrowed (with permission) my parent's bank account. When I reordered, the sales representative told me that since the coupon was out of uses, there was no way she could instantly give me the same laptop at ~$1200 but she would have to charge the account with ~$1500 then give a ~$300 cashback when the laptop was shipped. I left happily when winter break ended and came back home yesterday for spring break to find that my parents had been charged ~$1500 and that there was no ~$300 to be found anywhere. Any suggestions?

call, call, call and complain over and over.

This has happened to me before. You should get the money back when you receive the laptop from FedEx.

I received the laptop before going back to college after winter break. Can you tell me in what form you received your money? Check? Online transaction?
Scammed?
