Hey guys, I have an slightly older Compaq notebook (3050us) that I just hooked up to my new hdtv to use as an external monitor. Unfortunately, I cannot get the laptop to output a 1360x768 signal over the SVGA cable. I can get the 1024x768, but that leaves black bars on both sides... I know that the laptop itself has a 4:3 screen, so I didn't know if there was any way to enable widescreen external monitor support.

The computer has SiS integrated graphics, and I haven't had any luck looking for help through them... :(

    Thanks for any help!
