Hey everyone. I got a new computer a few months ago.....a dv7t and it works great so far. Well, until today that is. I hooked it up via DVI cable to my 1080p LCD tv to watch some movies. When the movies play on the TV, there is TERRIBLE screen tearing. Keep in mind the tearing only shows up on TV, not the computer. I tried different resolutions and turning VSYNC on, but still, crazy tearing. Also, though the computer reads an hdmi signal from the TV, I can't get the picture to show up on the TV through HDMI. Just says "no signal".

    Anyways, suggestions?

Update your drivers first and increase the refresh rate.

    Download the drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com

Increased the refresh rate to 60 herz but it didn't work. I'll try new drivers.
