This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Ok, i feel like an idiot, but can you all tell me how to turn down the brightness on my compaq v2000z screen, i want to keep it low to concerve battery.

    Thanks a bunch, and please forgive my ignorance.

    Press the Fn+F7 buttons to turn it down and Fn +F8 to increase it.
