    Screen changes color

    I bought this laptop in Hong Kong. This summer I brought it to Australia Melbourne then suddenly the screen turned green, basically unusable cause all the colors were gone. I returned to Hong Kong and the same thing happens although more often now.

    Is it time I get a new laptop or because the voltage differences messed up my screen? Sorry I don't remember the model but its around 2005-2006.

    Try to hook up to an external monitor and switch the display to it. If the external monitor is normal, then probably the LCD cable gets loose. Reseat the cable might fix the problem.
