This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was wondering if anyone could post a link or some photos comparing the brightview, ultra brightview, and brightview 1680X option. I have looked high and low on the Internet and in retail stores. When i called the compUSA they said they had the ultra to compare ... after an hour drive i found out the actually didn't have anything besides the standard screen. No one else (Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco, ETC) has anything else! i would really appreciate it if someone could help Thanks! (viewing angles is a factor but i also want to see the actual difference in brightness)
