I've had this computer for a while now, and the screen was giving me problems. I brought it into Best buy (the computer was purchased for me with a warranty through the "geek squad".) They returned it to me about 3 days ago, and I'm pretty sure they replaced my screen with a diferent type than was there before. I'm pretty sure it was transflective or reflective, and now I have a regular LCD, so I brought it in and they told me I was nuts (I said it seemed glossier, he told me I didnt take off the protective film). I cant decide whether or not to just live with it or not? Or even what to say to them if I go back in. Any thoughts? Help?

Although I haven't worked there, I doubt BestBuy swapped out your laptop LCD.

If you did have a transreflective screen and now you don't, using a non-transreflective LCD all depends on whether you use the laptop in direct sunlight... TR screens are brighter in direct sunlight.
