I have a brand new dv6tqe-7000 with the latest bios and drivers installed. So every now and again the screen goes to sleep from staying idle and never lights up again even though windows 7 is awaken. I have to blindly press windows key, right, S, to put it to sleep and when I wake it it the screen works again. The sound and touchpad also stop working arbitrarily sometimes and I use the same trick to get them working again. Does anyone else have this or know how to fix it permanently? I would much appreciate it. HP has the world service center in the world...took 6 weeks to get my laptop in my lap and working after I paid for it. I hope there is a fix...
