    Guys , can you please tell me if my 60gb/4200rpm HDD is working okay?

    I feel it is slowing down after 12 months of use.

    It seems as if you HDD is doing fine for 4200 rpm. Just for comparison, here's what my Toshiba 5400 rpm did.
    It may be performing slowly in real time usage if it's more than 50% full or if you haven't defragmented it recently.
