    Hi

I recently got a DV6000t and so far everything seems to be working fine, beside some minor issues. One of them is the light on top of "scroll key", as you have realized, there is a blue light on top of that key as well as to the left of "caps Lock key". The caps lock light turns blue when press upon but the scroll key only shows on-screen confirmation. I tried couple of these in the store, and all have the same problem! is this a problem or that's how it was made and if so why they put an LED on top of this key?
If you have the same issue, please come forward.
I also should say that I talked to tech support in India and they put my on hold and did not help me at all.

    Hi PersianKing,
The blue light on top of the Scroll key is for Numbers Lock. If you push the Num Lock you will see it light up.

sorry, I got it now. You need to press and hold the function key for this to turn on. Thank you for pointing that. Now it works.

No, the light is for the Number Lock function. The scroll lock function works, it just does not have a light associated with it. When you press FN + Scroll, you are activating the Num Lock button, which turns the light on. Without the FN key, you are activating Scroll Lock, and the light will not turn on because it is only associated with the number lock function.
