    Sd Card Help!!!

    So i did a clean install of vista and since then i havent beenable to get my card reader to work. i have installed the drivers and in device manager i see an entry for richo memory stick controller and richo xd card controller but nothing for SD card controller. i have tried reinstalling the drivers too. i only have SD cards so i cant test if the memory stick or xd parts work.. any ideas? can anyone help!!!

    The Ricoh Smartcard is for the Smartcard reader. You use it with compatible credit cards when you shop similar to just going to the store and sliding your card. Make sure you have the Secure Digital host controller. Did you try the drivers off a disk or where these from HP's site? Also check to see if you didn't disable the SD card reader. To check, when in the Device Manager, the SD card reader should NOT have an X on it. Remember to expand the Secure Digital host controller so you see SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller. If that still doesn't work try right clicking and checking the properties. Then see if it states it's working properly.
