Hooked up an LCD on the secondary
    display adapter. It's only showing
the desktop, no task bar. I want to
use the LCD as the primaary display
and turn off the notebook display. It
worked until I mucked with it. Thanks.

fn-F4 will toggle through notebook-only, dual, and external-only settings, assuming HP is consistent across their models (I use an external display with my zv5000z).
