    Hi!
This is probably a very stupid question :)
Has anyone tried inserting an SD card
into a ZD8000-series laptop (or other models)?
If so, did you have to push it very hard?
I'm afraid of breaking the card if I try. The
slot does indicate SD on top of it, but I'm
still a bit wary of forcing the card into it..
maybe I'm missing a button, or maybe the
SD label refers to another type (I bought the
    card for my digital camera).

    Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I have used the Media slots in my dv5000 and you have to push a little to get it in there. Least the XD cards you have to.

Apparently, I just hadn't properly positioned the
card.. when my sister inserted it, it went in wihout
a problem, and the laptop recognized it as a drive.
    Thanks for your input!
