I have to send my TX1304cs in for repair...again.

The BSOD Stop124's have now been joined by BCCODE "a"

Anyhoo, I'm looking for a secure erase/delete freeware for Vista. I downloaded a good one last time but forgot to bookmark it. The one I used had an icon like a shredder.

    Thanks.

Use ccleaner to clear out all your cache's and temporary storages

then search www.download.com for a file shredder

HP will most likely format your drive anyway

    ccleaner will do it all

it will permanently delete ALL of the programs files (you have to use ccleaner to unistall), clean the registry, and get rid of its hidden files

If there is an issue with his OS we will remove the file system header, rendering any data on the drive almost completely useless. But if the drive is bad, we will replace it with a new drive. We do however keep the old drives just in case the EU wants it back... So you can get your drive back if you want.
