Anyone know if the Semprons in the v2000z are mobile ones or the desktop. I am assuming they are the mobile, but I couln't find an answer on HP's website. I am looking for one for a friend and she'd like one with decent battery life. She only wants to surf, do office and burn a few discs. So if you have a z2000v with a Sempron, what kind battery life are you getting? Thanks in advance.

They are mobile 25W versions...If you click on the help me decide link in the customization page you can see that it will be listed as a mobile 25W version. Battery life should be around the same as the Turions ML or slightly less in some cases given that they use 10W less at maximum speeds.

I have the v2000z with the Semprons, if you're using it for surfing, msn, etc. The 6-cell will last you anywhere between 2-2.5hrs. If you want something that lasts a little longer, either get the 12-cell battery or go for a low end centrino.
