How do I set different settings for the touchpad and my wireless mouse. My wireless mouse is a lot more sensitive than the touchpad, but when I change the sensitivity settings the touchpad settings also changes.

I'm not sure. Though I would like to know how to "keep" my touchpad turned off upon rebooting the system. My old Compaq remembered the settings, not sure why my DV9700 doesn't.

when i installed the software for my wireless mouse...that allowed me to change the settings individually...
Try using the software the mouse came with...depending on who made it
