I need to slipstream those in order to install xp and i've been looking for these forever. If anybody knows where to find them or can give me a link, your help woruld be greatly appreciated.

Since you have a dv6985se, you can use Intel's Serial ATA/AHCI drivers. These can be found at the Intel Download Center, in the floppy configuration utilities. They contain the INFs that you need so that Windows XP will recognize your Serial ATA controller (ICH8M).

Thank you very much, but I don't know if my windows is 32 bit or 64 bit. Do you know if it will work if I slipstream both?

If you're using Windows XP you're almost certainly using 32 bit.
