    Hi everyone,

    I am from Ontario, Canada. I need to send in my dv9500 for warranty service. Does anyone know where the warranty service depot is? Or do Canadian warranty claims get shipped to the US?

    Is there anywhere that provides warranty service for HP? Or am I stuck sending it back to the manufacturer?

    Thanks for any input.

    If you're getting "warranty service", you can only get that from HP. It would be pointless to pay someone else to fix your machine if it can be fixed by HP for free.

    And there is a depot in Canada for sure. It would be silly for such a big company like HP to not have a depot in a major country and have it's customers deal with customs when merely sending a computer for service.

    Here's the address, but you should call ahead and verify the process for warranty service. I think that they will actually pick it up (courier) and ship it back once work is done.

    Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have to ship this thing 2000 miles away. That is nice and close so hopefully it will reduce turnaround time...
