When I googled the error we found 2 other people with the same problem. But no solutions.

HPIT told us not to worry about it. So, I guess it's more of an annoyance then anything. This is the only error showing up in the log. Other people have told me that. If that's the only error I'm seeing. Don't worry about it. They get all kinds off errors in the log

Here are the things HPIT had us do to try and fix the problem.

1 - Go into Services and change the way QPCapSvc.exe starts to Automatic (Delayed Start) Did not work. Error still generated in log.

    2 - Disable the QPCapSvc.exe service.
This prevents the use of the TV card and WEbcam in Quickplay. No good

3 - Uninstall Quickplay and Reinstall Quickplay and all updates. Did not work.

HPIT then told us they would have to forward our case. But in the mean time. If Quickplay continues to function correctly even with this error.
Just go into the log and clean the errors out every couple of days.

Do you think they will really forward our case, Or did they just tell us this to get off the phone?

We would apreciate any other suggestions or ideas on how to fix this problem.

    Thankyou

Is there any way to dictate the order in which services start during boot-up?
Is there anyway I can make sure one service is running before a second service that depends on the first service tries to run?

The reason I ask is. The Quickplay Background service looks like it depends on the Quickplay Task Scheduler (QTS).
The QTS service is set to automatic but not set to start until after Quickplay (QBCS) tries to start. I thnk this sequnce needs to be reversed.
I think this is why this error is being generated.

Does anyone know a simple procedure on how I can reverse the way these two services start and or How to make sure the first service is running before the second service tries to start?

Or some other solution to the problem / annoyance ?

Once again we are talking about the Vista Ulimate X64 OS.

    Thanks for your help
