    I ordered my ZX5000 on the 6th and it got shipped out on the 12 (5 days early). Since then I've been wathing the shipment process through Fedex and notice it got sent back to the original location it was shipped out of. This is what my shipping info reads so far...


    AUG. 13th
    - Left FedEx Ramp SHANGHAI CN ***??
    - Left FedEx Ramp SHANGHAI CN ***??
    - Arrived at Sort Facility ANCHORAGE AK
    - Arrived at Sort Facility ANCHORAGE AK

    AUG. 12th - Package status - SHANGHAI CN Package in FedEx location
    - Package status - SHANGHAI CN Package in FedEx location
    - Pickup status - SHANGHAI CN Package received after FedEx cutoff time

    I was wondering if it is normal for it to get sent back to Shanghai from Anchorage? Did it show this for anyone who has ordered from HP? Thanks in advance.

    Check the times. It probably did not get sent back to CN. The times should show that it left CN and ended up in AK. They sort of reverse the order on day two (instead of reading from bottom up...like day one, you read top down...on day two). This is the way mine read.

    After AK, it comes somewhere to the contiguous 48 and then to your house (all within a day or two). You may have it by tomorrow, if you didnot get it today.

    Yea it's still in AK.. Status says

    ANCHORAGE AK - Regulatory Agency Clearance Delay -

    That sucks but i should get it by thursday if it leaves 2morrow.

    My notebook is in the same place. Both of our notebooks must have shipped at the same time.

    Called FedEx they said it is in U.S. Customs waiting for inspection. It should be shipped out later today if it doesn't give them a call back tomorrow in the morning.

    Did you get the brightview option? I'm wondering if getting that option will make for longer ship times.

    I got the default WXGA (1280x800). Not sure if that would cause a delay in the shipping though...

    Thanks for the update, im a lil busy at work now so I was going to wait to call but I assume mine is here also since we ordered around the same time. Looks like 2morrow will be the day it will arrive. And I have off tomorrow what a coincidence [ :D]

    I ordered it on Aug 1st.

    I called 1.800.463.3339. Once there say international then rep, that will let you talk to someone.

    Congrats!

    How many days before the order status has tracking info?

    I've gotten confirmation order e-mail and then when I do the order status on hp.shopping.com it just lists the normal delivery date. and says no tracking information available.

    FedEx Tracking states delivered to my door. There is NO PACKAGE!!

    Called Fed Ex and they are looking into it. I have no luck!

    Yours shipped two days after ordering? It's been 3 days since we ordered and order status has no tracking number etc.
