Ordered a 6700tse on the 23rd, still hasn't shipped. They were offering that $300 coupon - maybe bit of a rush on them.

    How's everybody else looking?

Usually its 10-14 days from the day you ordered it before you get the package. My first dv9500 took 14 days, the second one took 12 days.

Good grief man, you have one SERIOUS machine :) 512MB video card?? Lord...

Mine is scheduled to ship tomorrow. Bit nervous since I figure they would typically under-promise and over-deliver. Standard shipping here... if all goes to plan should have it by the end of next week.

I opted for the 256MB 8600 GS. Hoping that's enough to get some moderate gaming in.

I just placed my order for the DV6700t about 4 days ago, and as of now, it's in the "in production" phase, and has a shipping date of Feb. 6th. So, given this data, my guess is that I will have it sometime around Feb. 12 - 16th ish (I chose the free 5-7 business day shipping). So, 3 weeks I think would be average.

    Hope this helps.

LOL! They had a 50% off sale on the video card and I couldn't pass it up. :D
The sad part is I haven't been able to test it out due to school and work. :(

Here is my experience. I used standard free shipping. Hope this helps anyone who orders a HP laptop in the future and finds this thread after searching. I know it helped me when I read older threads here about shipping when I was waiting for my laptop.

Order Placed: January 23, 2008 - 3:30 am Pacific Time (Wednesday)
    Estimated Shipping Date: January 31

Status Changed to "In Production": January 25 (Friday)

Status Changed to "Shipped": January 28 (Monday 2:00 am)

It took a little over 24 hours for the tracking number to actually work on Fedex's web site. Most likely because Fedex didn't actually leave China until over 24 hours later.

Actual Ship Date according to Fedex: January 29 (Tuesday - China time) / January 28 (Monday - USA West Coast time)
Estimated Delivery Date according to Fedex: February 1 (Friday)

Actual Delivery Date by Fedex: January 30 at 11:26 am (Wednesday) :)

So order placed on Wednesday and received on the next Wednesday just before noon. Not bad. :D

Note: Fedex didn't stop in Indianapolis (one of their main hubs) after Alaska like they usually do with HP shipments no matter where you live in the US. Instead, they went straight to Oakland, California after Alaska and then up to Seattle, Washington where I live. Last time I bought an HP laptop, they fly over my house, went to Indianapolis, and then all the way back to the west coast.

I cannot vouch for the actual shipping time as of yet but I ordered on Feb 4 and checked the website today and it is in production. Says it will ship out by the 18th. Did the free shipping so I am guessing that I will get it by the end of the month. After I actually get it I will update everyone.

Felt I got a good deal because of the $500 off coupon made my purchase at 1167.

looks like it with the exception you have 1 gb more ram. i almost got the 3gb but figured that i would wait and install it myself at a later time if i want. i am only going to watch movies and normal computing but hey why not get the best specs as possible when the coupon is available.

yes i am counting down the days as well.

I ordered my dv2700t se on the third with the $500 coupon. My laptop says "In production" too, and the estimate ship date is feb 15th.

Good news is I got my free printer today. Bad news is I can no longer look forward to tracking where my printer had been.
Sigh, I was really having so much fun googling the places it stopped at.

ericallenboyd - No worries, I'm upgrading the RAM myself when it gets here because I bought 2GB too. $100 from HP vs. $25-30 on NewEgg is just a no-brainer!
