I can't find the term "CPU" on the page. This is the 3dMark, not the CPUMark.

I just got my dv6t today. Im sad to say that I'm having the same audio issue. So far I've played only videos on youtube and the sound leveling up and down is very annoying. But I poped in bluray disc the movie "Tron", and it doesn't seem to be doing it at all then. Im also not impressed about the track pad buttons, they feel very cheap and loose like they're not securely attached to the body.

There is also fair amount bulging and flexing on the the center of the key board. Not a big deal for me, but the track pad buttons are pretty dissapointing. Everything else is great, HD screen, outside build quality, quiet and cool operation. I'll keep it for now, but we'll see.

Regarding the sound issue (as I have the same problem in my 6135, the sound level going up and down), I haven't noticed it anymore since I disabled the HP-microphone. That might be worth a shot for everyone experiencing this issue unless one uses it (the mic) a lot.

I tried playing with those settings and still no improvements. Hope HP updates the audio driver for this model.

I got about two hours of battery life when playing Crysis. All settings on high, and full screen and high res.

I have the same problem with my speakers, when it is at the maximum it makes a sound like static coming from the one of the right speakers, this is very disappointing, I hope a future driver update fix this issue

Disable the bass boost. Right click on the speaker icon>Playback Devices

On the window that comes up double click on the Speakers and Headphones selection.

Go to the enhancements tab and either turn off the bass boost by unchecking it or set it to a lower db. Also, go to the Advanced Tab> and in the sound format dropdown select 24 bit, 96000hz studio quality. This should alleviate the sound issue.

Can the dv6 support a mSATA SSD bigger than 32GB? The manual says that it can only support a 32GB mSATA SSD but I want to install the OS on a 128GB mSATA SSD.
