Should I buy the integrated bluetooth module for my notebook or just a USB dongle?

I'd like to start synchronizing my bluetooth-enabled iPAQ with my laptop wirelessly (thanks, Microsoft, for removing wifi sync from ActiveSync 4.5), but my nc8430 laptop does not have the optional integrated Bluetooth adapter.

I could buy the adapter from HP and install it, but the thing costs $80 CAD and, even then, it doesn't include the required connector cable.

Is there any reason, other than the convenience of having it integrated, that I shouldn't just buy any old USB Bluetooth dongle instead?

If you know that you're not going to be using it all the time, I'd say get a usb one one. I don't know if newegg ship to canda but this seem to be a good choice.

It's not really a matter of frequency of use, just convenience...and, I'm cheap, I guess ;)

Buy, yeah, I'll be using it pretty often.

That does look like a good one, thanks.
