    To questions:

    1. Will there be any difference in performance/noise when downgrading to Vista from XP on this notebook? Right now I'm not very satisfied with the performance of Vista.

    2. Where can I find xp drivers for 8510p?

    Thx in advance!

If you don't have enough RAM (at least 2GB) then I suppose XP could be faster.

You can find XP drivers here.

EDIT : Looks like Johnny T beat me to it ;-)...

Ok, have installed XP now, disabled "native SATA" mode to get the installer running.

But have a problem: Now I can't enable the SATA, get a bluescreen then. Can't install the SATA drivers in windows either, as the installer won't run when SATA mode is disabled.

    What can I do?
