Everest says my current BIOS version is F.45 and HP lists a newer version F.53 available. I am planning on doing clean install but wanted to ask if its worth it to move to newer BIOS before I do it?? Is there any benefits of doing it before clean install and what can I expect to be different with this version??

Any updates f.53 includes will be listed on the hp website under the description. No, there won't be any benefit for doing a clean install, but probably other benefits from a hardware standpoint.

It wouldn't make a big difference doing it before or after a clean install. I would do it anyway simply because it doesn't take long to flash the BIOS.
