Guys (and Girls too), Do you recommend me to update to SP1? The update doesn't show up for me in automatic update, so I was planning to download it and install it myself. But first I'd like to have your opinion.

Does SP1 worth trying? My system is sort of "stable" :p, but some issues with my wireless not connecting after sleep or hibernation, the system not coming up after a while in sleep mode, problems when modifying files or folders 'cause the sysem says that the file is being used by another process, etc, etc, etc. For most of this things I have some workarounds and maybe SP1 does little or nothing to my actual issues, but I want to know if SP1 improve Vista at all or somehow.

    Thanx!

Yes, there is no reason not to upgrade to SP1.

Vista has been completely stable for me before and after installing SP1. I don't really know what the update did though.

In case you have issues, SP1 makes a windows restore point. I used that to roll it back no problems until I figured out that my Kaspersky messed it up. There is an uninstall as well but I prefer the system restore. Back in the day i remember crap like IE 4 screwing up thousands if not millions of systems. There was no system restore in those days.. Just good old format, Fdisk, and start over. If MS learned one thing over the years was they figured out how we can undo their screw ups. :)
