    I noticed that my driver date 11/02 04 (version 6.14.10.3943) for my Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML is outdated?

    Should I install the newer one here?

    Installs drivers for the integrated graphics controller of Intel® chipsets. This is not to be used if the system has a third party graphics card.

    Will this improve things or not. The notebook is working fine and I usually have the "if it ain't broke, leave it alone" mentality.

    You'd better stick to the drivers from Windows Update and HP's support page.
    Yet, this driver should not hurt provided that you don't have the x700 card.

    Yeah, and just in case you should make a System Restore Point. I don't see it doing any harm.

    I installed it and it works fine. I don't know if it improved anything yet, but I'm sure it can't hurt.
