    I just got a call from my case manager, at last, offering me a replacment notebook! The dv6500 looks cool but the gpu sucks. Should I wait?

    If you have a discrete gpu in your current unit, then yes. You may as well wait, unless you'd rather downgrade to a GMA now.

    yup if theyre offering you the current versions of the 6500 when you had a 6000 with a go7400 then theyre offering a downgraded replacement

    Talk to your Case Manager explain that you have a discrete GPU now and that you still want to have a discrete GPU. Then ask him when that will come out, then pass on the same info to us :)
