Alright so I have been shopping around for quite a few months now and finally decided on the hp series of notebooks. Most likely the dv6000t series...
I have about 1300 max 1350 so I have a price range but its not a small one…

I originally decided on waiting until the Santa Rosa chipset had been released... to purchase my notebook... (Btw. I have student discount)
Then I saw the 15% off coupon code which is a killer for the student discount...

Here are the specs I am considering....

    Vista Business
    c2c T7200
    256MB GeForceGo 7400
    HP Imprint Finish + Microphone
    2GB of Ram
    160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    The free dvd burner upgrade
    PRO wireless w/Bluetooth
    High Capacity 6 Cell
    Microsoft Office 2007

Those configurations puts me at $1541 -15% = about $1310

Which is a kill deal considering my student discount for this machine gets me about $1442

So now, its do I wait for Santa Rosa.....or jump on this deal..?
-also won’t the release of Santa Rosa drop the prices of the current c2c processors
