Whenever I put the screen in tablet mode? Or do I have to manually do something in Vista to get it to go into portrait view?
And where is the setting to get it to switch to portrait? I'm using a fresh clean copy of Vista.. so a lot of the bloatware/apps are long gone.
Thanks in advance,
Jay

you should probably post this in the tablet review forums here or follow the link in the uper right hand corner of this page

SORRY! I figured this was a specific question regarding my HP tablet.. Such as, does this HP tablet have a way of letting the OS know it's in tablet mode.. gosh
This could be a limitation of "HP".. thats why I made a post in this forum.

Isnt there a button to change the screen orientation??
I couldnt find anything in Vista specific to the auto rotate feature, it might be a HP application which controls the auto rotate and since you have started with a clean installation you might need to install that software again. Look through the Tablet forums and see if someone else might be in the same situation as you. -
Yes there is a button to change the screen mode. You can choose all 4 modes to your liking. It's the button with two arrows icon on the side of the screen. I like mine where the fan is on top since it does get a little "warm".
Shouldn't my tablet tx1220us automatically go into portrait?
