    Sigh... MY charger's not working

    It makes a high pitched click noise when plugged into the wall now, and won't charge my notebook.

    Was it the Smart adapter adapter for HP Business notebooks ? ( Part Nr. 416421)
    The very same thing happened to my new Hp8510P. It was new and only working for about 8 hours and then it made a bursting sound and did not work anymore.

    I'm not sure, but it's a 90w charger that works with the nx9420 business series PC. Mine says HP Part No. 384021-001. It's a shame that HP labels this stuff "business quality"

    Looked the number up, and seems like the 8510p uses the same charger...

    I've heard HP has a sub-par rep when it comes to AC adaptors...but I dunno, they seem to replace them pretty fast so :\
