Ok so i was trying to make a partition on my hardrive to run windows XP.
I was using the windows disk management .

First i shrunk my hard drive, then i realized that i had shrunken it too much only 32 GB free space was left and my new partition would have like 280GB.
I didnt need that much space so I wanted to decrease the size of the unallocated space.

I clicked on expand disk and then it expanded but now all my partitions (only the default ones, i dont have any else) are simple volumes and have olive color, i want it to be back primary partition.

I dont mind keeping simple volume but i dont know whats the difference between this and primary partition
