    Simplepass problem

    Hi so i have a dv6tqe and sometimes when i use simplepass to sign in the white light that indicates that i have to swipe my finger keeps going for a few minutes.

    Its pretty annoying and it happens only a few times. The only way to stop it is to open simplepass. Is there anyway to fix the problem?

    You could try uninstalling then reinstalling

    That happens to me sometimes when i start it up from sleep or hibernate. Its just a small annoyance, so i just ignore it. It ends up going away after a couple of minutes.

    same here. seems like a common little annoying problem. it blinks for like 3 minutes or more its annoying to i open up simplepass and then it turns off

    I just discovered this issue myself, however, to really quickly get rid of the blinking light I found that swiping your finger across it from left to right stops the light blinking right away.

    At first my reader wouldn't work at all but I reinstalled the driver and SimplePass so now it's doing this. I can live with this though. I've grown fairly attached to not typing in passwords.

    You can turn off the light if you find it annoying. It's somewhere in the Simplepass options.
