    Sleep doesnt work anymore

    So the sleep function on my lappy doesnt work any more for me. Its been like this for a while now...I either hit the power button, or go to the start menu and hit Sleep and all the computer does is turn the screen off for a second then turns it back on in Locked mode, where i have to type a password to log back in. Anyone know what the issue could be? I cant seem to figure it out.

    Have you accidentally enabled a device to allow it to bring the computer out of sleep? Are we talking about standby or hibernate?

    Is media sharing turned on in network and sharing center? Forget why, but that was what was keeping my laptop from sleeping a while back.
