Just check now and it's not listed on HP.com under home -> laptop & tablet. Hmmm...interesting.

Yup, HP took off the dv3500t from their shopping portal. As for the reason why they took it off, I'm not sure.

Now a Best Buy exclusive. Part of their Blue Label line of notebooks. I picked one up yesterday and I'm truly, truly impressed.

That's stupid. Best Buy is overpriced, and you can't obviously use the HP coupons with them. You can't even customize it then. What a dumb move IMHO.

In your honest opinion you did not know the facts.

The same configuration Best Buy is selling, on the HP site was $250 more with no options for coupon discount.
The Best Buy offer also has a 2 year warranty because it is in their Blue Label line of products, if you bought it from HP it is a 1 year warranty.

Best Buy then dropped the price on Sunday another $100 so it was effectively $350 less than what HP was selling it for.

The only negative here is you cannot customize them.

Still why wouldn't HP have at least a placeholder, some sort of ad for the dv3500... it's one of their most interesting laptops now, it should be shown there.
