Now theres this coupon code out, its in the Laptop Deals tab and it says you get $150 off any laptop u buy thats over $999.00 so where do i use this coupon? And will i get it for $700 then if i use it? Thanks!!!

you have to make the $850 over the price. It includes those rebates. It doesn't work on the HDX's though
-
I dont get it lol. Im not getting a HDX im trying to get a Dv5t!!!
-
So is that rebate the $150 i get off or is that not the coupon code?
-
Sorry,
The price that's in the bold lettering while you're building the laptop is the one that must be over $999. You'll get a $1150 machine, use the rebate they give to everybody and the price will drop to $1000, then at checkout you'll put in the code and it'll go down to $850
You're not able to get the price down to $700, you'll just get a bette rlaptop for the price
Sorry I was confusing before -
The price in the bold when i was building it was $999.98 and it said anything u buy over $999.00 u get $150 off if u use that coupon. But when i went to checkout it automatically went to $850 with instant rebate without me putting in the code, so im assuming u can add the coupon on then to make it $700 cant you?
-
No, I'm sorry your instant rebate works funky compared to what I know. Including the instant rebate the unit must cost over $999. Then you will enter your coupon number and the price will go back down to $850, but you'll have better components.
-
So basically i can build it to $1150 and i get it for $850?
-
yep....bang on
-
Thanks guys, preciate it. Not a bad deal at all. What do you guys think of the dv5t?
-
it is a nice mainstream laptop. However everyone has their take on the looks.
Just go with your instincts and if you feel the laptop covers your requirements, go with it. -
True. But it sucks ordering online man, id actually wanna go check out the comp first lol!!!
-
Well what do u know, when i went to customize the comp, it says the sites now being updated LOL!!!
-
Jaden, do you have a circuit city or best buy where you are located?? if so.. you can go in person and look at them. the dv5 is very nice, ,they are all nice really.
-
Yah i do man a Futureshop and Best Buy, im in Canada lol. The changed the hp site now, the bold price thats there while ur making ur notebook is the price with the rebate taken off now, and thw additional $150 is later when u put the code in, thats stupid lol!!!
-
Tenspeed how did u get ur notebook so cheap?
-
it was a 400 off of 1299 or better coupon.
-
Thats dope, i hope it comes out again lol!!!
-
yeah, it might,, just keep checking those other websites i gave you.
-
I have heard bad things about build quality and longevity.
And even worse stories about HP repair policy. Some guy even got half his components downgraded after he got it back. -
Best Buy and Circut City lol?
-
no no,, the www.xpbargains.com and www.slickdeals.net sites
-
Thanks, those sites are awesome man. And i dont think im going to be getting a HP anymore, i just dont really like the brand and im hearing too many bad things about them!!!
-
Well, good luck with whatever brand you end up choosing. just first, click the link in my sig for some interesting insite.
