    So has HP corrected any of the heat and problems for the DV6500 series. I am assuming this is the Santa Rosa series. I know the issues with the DV9000 series as I own one. I am considering buying a new laptop for the Ms. and curious if the new 6500 series has resolved some of the shortcomings of the previous line.

    I will end up searching this forum but I am specifically looking at the fan and heat issues and specific issues are harder to find.
