    Hi,
After I read a lot of posts where pavilion owners are talking about drivers and bios issues, I got a bit worried if pavilion is a good choice. Can you please say a definite yes or no?

Tomorrow I want to buy this laptop:
    HP Pavilion dv6-6b85ec Dark Umber | Alza.cz

    Intel Core i5 2430M Sandy Bridge, 15.6" BrightView LED 1920x1080, RAM 6GB DDR3, AMD Radeon HD6770M 2GB

    Is this laptop a no-no or yes-yes?

I have the i7 version, very happy with it and have experienced no problems what so ever.

Did a minimal install and used windows anytime upgrade to upgrade to premium, and am very happy with the laptop.

Laptop runs very quiet and does not get hot at all except when gaming which is understandable.

I got the 7690M XT video card with the switchable graphics and i love this feature.

I have the 6180us and so far it's very good. I use Fixed mode on my video card so I don't have problems with switchable graphics from the start. It's also light for a 15 inch and fast boot up and shut down for an i7. Although I really want to see the screen quality of the FHD version.
