Any thoughts as to when HP will debut their answer to these respective systems?

Hmm...Hard to guess considering there isnt a huge market for such PC's. But HP does have something similar in the IQ775( Link) which isnt exactly a true all in one but close.
The hdx9000 could also be considered a AIO. -
No clue, but Gateway's looks ulgier than Sin.

Hi,
Look closely at HP HDX. It is bascially better than an All in one since you can carry it around.
If you look at most of the all in ones (including Apples) they all use laptop parts for CPU and Video.
So with HP, you get the best of both worlds -- the second fastest laptop video card in the 8800M gts and a 20in monitor and the ability to carry it around if the need arises (plus it has the penryns available). -
I always thought that the Gateway One looked like a giant iPod Video....or a Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh from 1997...lol.
But I agree, you could sort of consider the HDX an AIO PC. Which reminds me, does Dell still make the XPS M2010? -
Yeah they still carry the 2010 but they rarely update the specs. Right now the HDX is much better priced.
In case the HDX has better specs than the iMacs now. -
Yeah, that's right. I didn't think of the HDX that way but when you look at it...
... That's exactly what it is, only better. -
For those HDX owners out there, how adjustable is the monitor on the HDX? I've heard some people say the monitor is too close to the keyboard and it can't be adjusted that much, but I'd like to hear what those owners in this forum think about their HDX and where the screen is placed.

they all look pretty ugly except for the apple

as with all apple products, all style not much substance. If Hp made one off their HPw2207 monitors, and the other sizes of the same model they would have a hit... -
I actually think the IQ775 is a sweet looking machine... I saw it at the Vista Launch Party
So when will HP Debut a "one" desktop system?
