So, I have a zv5000 that has the 64 bit AMD Athlon in it. I bought it planning on upgrading to a 64 bit version of XP as soon as it comes out. How is HP going to do this? They couldn't possibly have sold these notebooks w/ the 32 bit version and not think that we'd expect the 64 bit when it comes out?
I've actually been running 64 bit Suse linux for the most part. But, I would like to take a 64 bit dive.
Any word on if HP has any plans for us 64 bit notebook users stuck w/ a 32 bit OS?

How can that be, you had to have known when you bought thr computer, what it came with. Did they promise you any free upgrades. I wish that would have been the case. I will buy xp64 when it comes out.

So, what's the deal w/ 64 bit XP and "old" HPs?
