Ok i am not trying to sell this to you im asking how much should i put it up for? i am not sure how much to sell my HP dv2700 notebook for. I am selling it on ebay probably so i can get some more money for a desktop that will run WoW and other games or gaming laptop. I bought it last year for around $1000 and i also have a 2 year warranty from Office Max on it. Its in really good condition and looks great. Here are the specs: (i dont know how to find the other specs on my computer :/)

    Processor- AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 2.00 GHz
    RAM- 3GB

Google "dv27xxxx specifications site:hp.com", replacing dv27xxxx with your exact model name.

Best strategy on eBay is to set a low starting price to bring in lots of bidders and they'll take it from there. Or, use the Completed Listings option to search for what other people got for their notebooks and post it for sale on your local Craigslist, if you have one. eBay and PayPal fees are annoying and I've had better luck selling laptops locally.

Don't expect to get much more than $300.

I agree with Brian. I wouldnt plan on getting much more than $300. If you take the craigslist route you might be able to get $400 or so.

ok im not really familiar with craigslist how exactly does it work? i will be happy with 300-400. When i list it on ebay or craiglist what specs should i include? i looked at the search thing that Brian gave me and there are a lot of specs so i wasnt sure if i should include all of them or only a selection of them.

Craigslist is a classified ad. You post pics and all the specs you can and you put how much you want for it. Then there is an email where interested parties contact you. Then if they want to buy it, they usually come to your house to pic it up.
