I own the above monitor and Love it! What I want to know is how the glossiness of its screen compares to the nx9420 with briteview. More/less glossy, same? Which screen type did you get on your notebook and why.

    Thanks!!

I have this monitor, and I really like it.
I dont have a nx9420, but I have a Sony FJ, which has a glossy screen similar to the HP one, except much brighter and more crisp (I have compared it to many HP displays, so I know). I like the FJ better primarily because of its higher resolution. I got glossy because that was the only option, but its much brighter in general. the thing i dont like about it is that in sunlight theres a lot of glare, which can get annoying.
Given a choice between glossy and regular, i would go for the cheaper one. if they were the same price, i would probably get the glossy, because its higher brightness.
