The sound seems really crappy on this notebook to me. My old sounded better. I cannot find adjustments or bass and treble etc.. like in XP. It is ok for internet and other applications but while watching dvd movies or media player it is very low to the point its hard to hear film dialouge. Is there anyway of incresing it? It s supposed to be all the way up but something seems off.

Go to your Volume Control Panel and make sure the Wave control is turned all the way up.
