I purchased the Pavilion tx1210ca about a week ago and since i first booted there have been sound issues, the sound will randomly stutter/lag. Ive swapped for a new laptop to ensure its not a card issue but the problem remains.

I have updated the drivers from the HP site and still no fix. I've totally removed and reinstalled and still stuttering.

Ive noticed there are bluetooth drivers listed under my audio devices in addition to teh realtek ones but cant find any driver updates for those

Anyone have any ideas as the HP live support keeps telling me to reinstall drivers and then vista

Are there any specific times that the sound will stutter? A while ago my laptop started stuttering whenever it was playing DVDs, anything played off of the hard drive ran just fine. It turned out to be an issue with the DVD drivers becoming corrupted. So are you having issues with just the optical drive or is this all the time?

Turns out it's a conflict with the Wi-Fi. In device manager, go to Network adapters -> Broadcom adapter -> Advanced -> Disable Bands -> Disable 802.11a

This worked for me. 802.11a networks are old, and not common these days. It's a good trade off for good sound. Hope this helps... drove me nuts for a week until I found this fix
