    Hey, I have a HP Pavilion 523n and I just reformated it because it had a million viruses. But now that it's reformatted, it keeps sayign my soundcard is missing... how the hell is this possible considering it worked perfectly right before I reformatted it. Someone tell me how to fix this please...

    try running windows upodate, if you don't have your original driver, which is on some cd u probably got when you bought your machine. Hope u get it working....
