I purchased a V2000Z a little under a year ago and I was blown away by the quality of the speakers on this budget ($350 new with APP) system. I'm looking into a DV2000T and I was wondering how the speakers on that system compare. Better than the V2000Z? Worse? Anyone own/used both models care to make a quick comparison.

    Thanks!

I'm guessing they both use the same Altec Lansing speakers.

    I'm on a dv2000z so maybe somewith with a T could confirm.

Are they the same quality as the V2000Z or are they just branded the same?

They're the same speakers... though the audio codec used is different. I never thought they were anything special... not awful though.
